Summary	A small family run "pub with rooms". We have 3 letting bedrooms, not en suite at the moment, but with plenty of towels and hot water for a bath.
Facilities	We do bar lunches seven days a week, and suppers most days. (Wednesday is usually the kitchens half day). We try to be flexible and cater for most requirements, although a phone call is appreciated if you are going to be after 7pm or if you have a large party. We have a good choice of tasty, wholesome, unpretentious food, with main courses mostly around £5.25
	Walkers are very welcome. Packed lunches can be supplied at a reasonable price, and we will endeavour to keep your jackets and boots somewhere warm and dry. We can also usually find space to keep bicycles secure overnight. We are 3 minutes walk from Sanquhar station (trains to Glasgow,Stranraer,Carlisle and Newcastle), 1 minute from the Stagecoach bus stop ( buses to Cumnock,Ayr,Dumfires,Wanlockhead and Leadhills). We are close to the A76, with car parking at the rear. The Southern Upland Way crosses the High Street about 3 minutes walk from us.
